Booking Terms & Conditions:

Booking:
Booking must be made in writing on the form overleaf and should be accompanied with a deposit of £95 per person. These should be sent to Breakaway Sailing, 2 Minster Close, Fareham, Hants, PO15 5PB and cheques should be made payable to Breakaway Sailing. Telephone bookings will be held for 7 days from dispatch of the booking form. The outstanding balance should be paid 28 days prior to start of course.
Cancellation:
If Breakaway Sailing has to cancel the booking then alternative dates will be offered or a full refund will be made up to the value of the course/charter; Students will be liable for the full course fee if a booking is cancelled within 4 weeks of the start of the course unless Breakaway Sailing is able to fill the berth, in which case a refund will be made of all monies paid less the amount of the deposit payment. No refund or part refund can be given if students leave the course prior to completion.
Insurance:
The Yacht provided by Breakaway Sailing conforms to the Department of Transport’s Code of Practice for Small Commercial Vessels. It is fully insured against accident, third party liability and personal injury arising from negligence by Breakaway Sailing. However, Breakaway Sailing accepts no liability for personal accident or loss or damage to the property of the client. Students are advised to take out the appropriate holiday insurance to cover these eventualities and cancellation charges.
Complaints:
Should you have a reason to make a complaint, please make it known to the on board skipper at the earliest possible time. We would like the opportunity to deal with any complaints at the time they arise so we can rectify them immediately. Should you then feel that your complaint was not dealt with satisfactorily please contact the Mark Prince on +44 (0) 7891 127047 again at the earliest opportunity.
Skippers
Authority:
Decisions made by the Skipper / Instructor are final in respect of the safety of the vessel, well being of the crew and progress of the course; even to the extent of requiring a student to leave the vessel in exceptional circumstances.
